Continuing education

Many states now require licensed engineers and surveyors to meet requirements in continuing professional competency, or CPC. A licensed engineer or surveyor often is required to complete a number of professional development hours, or PDHs, to renew the license. Check with your state licensing board for specific requirements.

NCEES previously partnered with ACEC to create the Registered Continuing Education Program (RCEP), an online service with several benefits for both professionals and course providers.
