International Registry
The NCEES International Registry assists U.S.-based professional engineers who are seeking recognition in other nations.
If you are interested in being added to the International Registry, you must
- Be a citizen currently licensed as a professional engineer in a U.S. state or territory
- Hold a record clean of disciplinary action
- Hold a current NCEES record
- Have a degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program.
- Have passing scores on the NCEES FE and PE examinations
- Have at least seven years of qualifying experience, including two years in responsible charge of significant engineering work
- Have met the applicable continuing professional competency requirements*
Additional requirements
- As a candidate for the International Registry, you will be required to submit a sworn statement attesting any sanctions received for violations of applicable licensing laws.
- If you have not declared an engineering discipline upon obtaining licensure, you must declare your area(s) of expertise upon applying for the International Registry; your areas of expertise must reflect the material submitted in the application.
