Arizona surveying exam registration

How do I register?

For the October 2013 exam, all examinees that register for an NCEES exam for Arizona are automatically approved to take the exam.

All FS and PS exam candidates, first-time and retake: Register online with NCEES (deadline: September 5, 2013) to reserve your seat for the exam.

You are not required to submit an application or documentation for approval prior to registering with NCEES.

Once you pass your exam, you will then apply directly to the Arizona Board of Technical Registration to continue the certification or licensure process, and will submit any required application and documentation as required by the board.

Requirements for in-training registration and professional registration can be found here.

Exam authorization

NCEES will email you 2–3 weeks before the exam with a link to download and print your exam authorization notice. Read it carefully. You will be required to present this document along with a valid, government-issued photo ID upon arrival at the exam site.

Results

When results have been released to the Arizona board (typically 8–10 weeks after the exam) and validated, NCEES will send an email informing you that your result can be accessed through your My NCEES account. The Arizona board will notify you of any state-specific exam results.
