Georgia exam registration

How do I register?

 
FE candidates: Register online with NCEES (deadline: September 5, 2013) to reserve your seat for the exam.

All others (PE, SE, PS, FS): You must first apply to the Georgia board for approval to sit for the exam in Georgia. Visit the board’s website for instructions on the approval process. The following approval guidelines and application deadlines have been provided by the Georgia board. Contact the board with questions about its approval process.

After you have been approved by the board, register online with NCEES (deadline: September 5, 2013) to reserve your seat for the exam.

PS exam candidates: NCEES does not administer Georgia’s state-specific surveying exam (which supplements the PS exam). Contact the Georgia board to register for this exam.

Exam authorization

NCEES will email you 2–3 weeks before the exam with a link to download and print your exam authorization notice. Read it carefully. You will be required to present this document along with a valid, government-issued photo ID upon arrival at the exam site.

Results

When results have been released to the Georgia board (typically 8–10 weeks after the exam) and validated, NCEES will send an email informing you that your result can be accessed through your My NCEES account.
