Indiana surveying exam registration
How do I register?
Full-time undergraduate students enrolled as a senior in an ABET-accredited engineering curriculum in a college or university in Indiana may take the last FS examination offered prior to the individual’s scheduled graduation. This individual must complete a student application (PDF) and mail it to NCEES at the address on the form before August 29, 2013. The student application is valid for only one attempt.
After submitting the FS approval application, register online with NCEES (deadline: September 5, 2013) to reserve your seat for the exam.
All other examinees should visit the Indiana board’s website for instructions on how to apply for approval to sit for the exam. The Indiana board’s deadlines for approval applications are January 2 for the April 2013 exams, and July 1 for the October 2013 exams. After the board has notified you of your approval, register online with NCEES (deadline: September 5, 2013) to reserve your seat for the exam.
Exam authorization
NCEES will email you 2–3 weeks before the exam with a link to download and print your exam authorization notice. Read it carefully. You will be required to present this document along with a valid, government-issued photo ID upon arrival at the exam site.
Results
When results have been released to the Indiana board (typically 8–10 weeks after the exam) and validated, NCEES will send an email informing you that your result can be accessed through your My NCEES account. The Indiana board will notify you of any state-specific exam results.
