NCEES publishes study materials in the form of sample questions, practice tests, and/or supplied-reference listings. They come in a variety of formats: book (printed), CD-ROM, PDF, or online interactive.

Frequently, courses are offered by universities, and it is worth checking with the office of the dean of engineering or surveying at a university in your area. A local chapter of an engineering or surveying society may also offer courses. As a policy, NCEES neither offers nor keeps track of exam preparation courses.
As a policy, NCEES does not make recommendations regarding general reference textbooks or other learning publications.
NCEES offers sample questions, practice tests, and supplied-reference listings on this Web site. Further, if you are planning to take the PE Civil, PE Structural I, and/or PE Structural II exam(s), you may wish to review the design standards.
