Exams

NCEES develops and administers the FE, PE, and SE exams for engineering licensure and the FS and PS exams for surveying licensure. It also publishes study materials designed to familiarize candidates with the material they can expect on exam day.

Before registering for an upcoming NCEES^® exam, review your state’s approval and registration process by selecting your state licensing board (or foreign country/U.S. territorial location, if applicable) from the drop-down list on the right. Each page explains the approval and registration process for taking an exam at that location.
