NCEES recognizes long-standing service

NCEES recently honored eight individuals for their dedicated service to the organization and the engineering and surveying professions. The 2023 NCEES service award winners are

  • Jeffrey B. Jones, P.L.S., member of the Wyoming Board of Professional Engineers and Professional Land Surveyors, who received the Distinguished Service Award
  • Dean C. Ringle, P.E., P.S., member of the Ohio State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Surveyors, who received the Distinguished Service Award
  • Marlee Walton, P.E., P.L.S., emeritus member of the Iowa Engineering and Land Surveying Examining Board, who received the Distinguished Service Award
  • Steven F. Barrett, Ph.D., P.E., member of the Wyoming Board of Professional Engineers and Professional Land Surveyors, who received the Distinguished Examination Service Award
  • Anne Bertelsmann, Ph.D., P.E., of Texas, who received the Distinguished Examination Service Award
  • LeRoy C. Feusner, P.E., of Montana, who was posthumously honored with the Distinguished Examination Service Award
  • Lan Yoneda, P.E., of Hawaii, who received the Distinguished Examination Service Award
  • Howard C. (Skip) Harclerode II, P.E., member of the Maryland State Board for Professional Engineers, who received the President’s Award

The winners were honored at the NCEES annual meeting, held August 15–18, 2022, in Boston, Massachusetts.
