NCEES recognizes long-standing service

NCEES recently honored seven individuals for their dedicated service to the organization and the engineering and surveying professions. The 2020 NCEES service award winners are

  • Thomas Orisich, P.L.S., member of the Maryland State Board for Professional Land Surveyors, who received the Distinguished Service Award
  • Milena Trust, Esq., assistant attorney general for the Maryland State Board for Professional Engineers and the Maryland Department of Labor, who received the Meritorious Service Award
  • Thomas Caldwell, P.E., of North Carolina, who received the Distinguished Examination Service Award
  • Kenneth DeVries, Ph.D., P.E., of Utah, who received the Distinguished Examination Service Award
  • Burton Lewis, S.E., of Illinois, who received the Distinguished Examination Service Award
  • Merlin Williams, P.E., of Minnesota, who received the Distinguished Examination Service Award
  • Molly Williams, Ph.D., P.E., of Michigan, who received the Distinguished Examination Service Award

The winners were recognized during the organization’s annual meeting business webinar held on July 1, 2020, and will be honored in person at the organization’s 2021 annual meeting in New Orleans.
