The NCEES Foundation conducts one funding cycle per year, starting on October 1 and ending on September 30.

Priorities for funding

Priority is given to proposals that demonstrate a clear connection to advancing engineering and surveying licensure to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the public. Examples include programs that

  • Promote the value of engineering and surveying licensure within the profession or to the general public.
  • Build the pipeline of future engineers and surveyors at the k-12 level.
  • Keep current engineering and surveying students enrolled and/or successful in their respective programs.

NCEES Foundation funded recipients

The NCEES Foundation is pleased to announce the 13 organizations that received funding for projects that will have a direct impact on advancing licensure for engineers and surveyors. These projects demonstrated a clear connection to advancing engineering and surveying licensure to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the public. Award funding for each organization in 2024-25 ranged from $5,000–$100,000. There are no restrictions on how much funding can be requested by organizations each year.
