NCEES recognizes long-standing service

NCEES recently honored several individuals for their dedicated service to the organization and the engineering and surveying professions. The 2012 NCEES award winners are

• Stanley Harris, P.E., of Virginia and James Milligan, Ph.D., P.E., of Idaho, who received the Distinguished Service Award with Special Commendation
• Govind Nadkarni, P.E., of Texas and David Whitman, Ph.D., P.E., of Wyoming, who received the Distinguished Service Award
• Lesley Rosier-Tabor, P.E., executive director of the West Virginia PE board, who received the Meritorious Service Award
• Martin Crawford, Ph.D., P.E., of Alabama, who received the Distinguished Examination Service Award

The winners were honored at the NCEES annual meeting, which was held August 22–25, 2012, in St. Louis, Missouri.
