What are your career goals?

I plan to work in a discipline such as project management to gain experience and knowledge before reaching my goal of being an engineering manager.

Do you have any areas of interest specific to your discipline?

I am interested in all aspects of the engineering design process. I find great enjoyment and importance in simplifying and improving designs and processes for all systems.

What is one piece of advice you have for fellow engineering students?

Hard work is rewarding. Engineering is a very respected field of study where your efforts and accomplishments will not be taken lightly or gone unnoticed. When things are challenging, remember all the great opportunities that lie just ahead.

What has been your favorite engineering course and why?

My favorite course was Strength of Materials. I enjoy building and working on home projects, so this class was very helpful in furthering my understanding of the topic. I also believe it has fundamental teachings that can be beneficial across many different branches of engineering.

Which clubs, campus organizations, and activities do you participate in?

I am a member of the Kennesaw State track and cross-country team where I have been awarded multiple All-Academic conference awards.

What are you most looking forward to gaining from being an FE ambassador?

I am excited to show the importance and value of licensure to my classmates and give clarification on any topics of uncertainty. I am also looking forward to creating valuable networking opportunities for my peers as well as myself by meeting and connecting with one another.
