What are your career goals?

I want to work as a project engineer on both residential and commercial projects.

Do you have any areas of interest specific to your discipline?

I am interested in Construction Engineering and Management.

What is one piece of advice you have for fellow engineering students?

I encourage engineering students to embrace teamwork and collaboration in the classroom.

What has been your favorite engineering course and why?

The “Transportation Engineering Planning and Design” course has been my favorite engineering course so far due to my ability to execute a road design project that encouraged me to think outside the box. Also, it was interesting to learn about traffic flow and the safety aspect of road design.

Which clubs, campus organizations, and activities do you participate in?

  • Society of Women Engineers (SWE)
  • Programs for Educational Enrichment and Retention (PEER)
  • Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) and WISE Mentoring
  • National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE)
  • Connections Program

What are you most looking forward to gaining from being an FE ambassador?

I look forward to connecting with students around campus and enhancing my communication skills as a FE Ambassador.

What would you say to someone who is thinking of applying to be an FE ambassador in the future?

This role is an excellent opportunity for personal growth; moreover, it is a great way for someone to pass along knowledge about the FE exam through fluid conversations, allowing others to grasp this information effectively.
