Current engineering and surveying students who pass the FE or FS exam prior to graduating from a participating program are eligible to receive a free NCEES honor cord to wear at their graduation ceremony.
To receive a cord, students must select the appropriate option during the exam registration process and receive notification of passing results on the exam at least 21 days before their graduation date. All honor cords are sent directly to a designated on-campus contact at participating schools for distribution. NCEES will only provide participating schools with a list of students who select to receive an honor cord, have a graduation date in their record that matches the graduation date being distributed, AND pass the exam 21 days prior to graduation. A current list of participating schools is available below.
