Meeting and event details

The NCEES zone interim meetings are held each spring. The primary purpose of the meeting is for representatives from the member licensing boards to hear and discuss reports from the NCEES board of directors, CEO, standing committees, and task forces. The work of the committees and task forces results in motions that will be presented for Council vote at the annual meeting in August. Zone meeting delegates can ask questions and discuss possible annual meeting motions, and they are encouraged to take information back to their boards for further discussion. Additionally, delegates will provide individual board updates, elect a zone vice president and assistant vice president, and select a nominee for NCEES president-elect (election to be held at the annual meeting in August).

Friday luncheon with guest speaker

Delegates will break and enjoy lunch with a special guest speaker. Guests may choose to have lunch with the delegates for $60.

Guest activity: Tour and Luncheon at the Edgemont House (optional; register and pay in advance)

$90 per person

The Edgemont House is a beautiful historic Spanish Colonial Revival home lovingly restored by Chris H. Olsen. From the minute you step into the Edgemont House, you will be transported to another time and era—when homes were grand and parties were even grander. The interiors, designed by Kevin Green Design Firm, inspire both awe and amazement in every room of the house. The enclosed courtyards, portico, gravel Oak Alley, pavilion, loggia, and formal gardens are landscaped and planted in the most unique and colorful way…as only Chris H. Olsen can do!

Friday evening event: Private Dinner at the William J. Clinton Presidential Library and Museum

Delegates and guests will enjoy a southern buffet dinner from 42 Bar and Table at the William J. Clinton Presidential Library. Transportation will be provided for all.

The Clinton Center features the Presidential Library and Museum and the Clinton Presidential Park, including the Bill Clark Wetlands, the Clinton Presidential Park Bridge, the Anne Frank Installation, and the Choctaw Building.

The Clinton Presidential Library and Museum provides a unique perspective of an American Presidency. The Presidential Library has preserved the documents and artifacts of President William J. Clinton and provides insight into the times in which he lived and served the nation. The museum features interactive exhibits including replicas of the Oval Office and the Cabinet Room.

Business casual attire is appropriate for all meetings (for example, polo shirts, blouses, slacks, skirts, khakis, or dress pants).
