NCEES Foundation invests in future of licensure

The NCEES Foundation is pleased to announce the 18 organizations that received funding for projects that will have a direct impact on advancing licensure for engineers and surveyors. These projects demonstrated a clear connection to advancing engineering and surveying licensure to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the public.

2026–27 funding cycle
The NCEES Foundation is now accepting donations for the 2026–27 funding cycle. These donations will allow individuals and other organizations to have a direct impact on protecting the health, safety, and welfare of future generations by ensuring a sustainable workforce of licensed engineers and surveyors.

Surveying and Mapping Society of Georgia Education Foundation President Mitch Paulk, P.E., P.L.S., remarked on the impact the Foundation funding will have on surveying outreach: “The NCEES Foundation’s investment is helping us turn student interest into lasting opportunity. Every career day reveals students who are genuinely interested in surveying, and our Classroom to Career initiative gives those students a clear next step through mentorship, job shadowing, internships, and scholarships. We’re grateful for the Foundation’s partnership in building a stronger pathway to surveying licensure and investing in Georgia’s next generation of licensed surveyors.”

Donors can choose from four annual giving levels and will be recognized in NCEES publications and at its annual meeting.
