NCEES Surveying Education Award

2020 Surveying Education Award competition canceled

NCEES has made the decision to cancel the 2020 Surveying Education Award competition due to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) and its impact on colleges and universities.

NCEES will not be accepting any applications for the 2020 Surveying Education Award competition. All surveying/geomatics programs should consider submitting applications in the 2021 Surveying Education Award competition. Award details will be available in October 2020.

2019 winners

In 2019, NCEES awarded the New Mexico State University Geomatics/Surveying Engineering program the $25,000 grand prize. Six additional prizes were awarded to qualifying programs to assist with each program’s continued efforts to promote the importance and value of surveying licensure. Use of the funds awarded is encouraged to be incorporated into the surveying/geomatics programs.
